2050 - Tour 2 days at Zagora from Marrakech

Two day round trip in the South of Morocco:
These itineraries both start and finish in Marrakech and are therefore ideal for those who arrive there by airplane and do not have the desire or the time to rent and drive a car. One of our own expert drivers will accompany you throughout the journey and, depending on the number of people forming your group, we will arrange for a car or a minibus. Should you desire it, the driver may greet you directly at the airport or come pick you up at the hotel and may likewise leave you there at the end of your wonderful stay in the South of Morocco.
4x4 vehicles are also available with a supplement. However we believe a car or minibus is sufficient for this itinerary.
The organizing agency is in Marrakech and we may therefore also provide tailored tours and itineraries.

Programme:

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Zagora (370km)
Departure early in the morning from Marrakech (7:00am). The itinerary will take you across the Tizi n'Tichka hill where you will be able to admire the suspended Berber villages. Tour of the 11th century Aït Benhaddou Casbah, one of the marvels included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Lunch. You will then first reach the Tizi Tiniffift hill and its almost lunar landscape and then the Drâa Valley. The itinerary will then take you, in the afternoon, to Zagora where you will leave the vehicle and head, riding dromedaries, into the red dunes of the desert. Dinner and camping in a Berber tent on the margins of the desert.

Day 2: Zagora - Ouarzazate - Marrakech (350km)
Sunrise on the dunes and departure for Ouarzazate. Tour of the famous Taourirt Casbah (ticket not included in the tour costs, guided tour on request), once the residence of the El Glaoui Pasha. Return to Marrakech passing through the Tizi n'Tichka hill during sundown.

Prices are inclusive of car or minibus for the whole duration of the tour, car insurance, gas, driver, a night in the Berber tent, meals. They are instead not inclusive of beverages.
