Description

Discover South Morocco: excursions in several days.
Tours starting from and coming back to Marrakech, perfect for peoples coming by plane and unwilling to rent and ride a car.
Depending on how many you are you'll have at disposal a car or a minibus with an expert driver who will accompany you all the time and can possibly (on request) fetch you at the airport or at your hotel in Marrakech and take you back there at the end of the trip.
With an extra you may have a SUV as well, but we don't judge it necessary for this tour.
Our agency is in Marrakech and may also organise tailored itineraries.

Included in the price: car or minibus, car insurance, fuel, driver, hotels, one night bivouac in the desert under a Berberian tent, dinners, breakfasts. Not included lunches and drinks.

Foreign Languages Spoken by the driver: French.
There are also drivers who speak English, if you need them, please specified it on the booking form.

Itinerary Boucle Merzouga (variant Dadès - Merzouga)
3 days /2 nights

program:

1° day: Marrakech  - Ouarzazate - Boumalne Dadès (300 km).
Morning departure from Marrakesh towards Tizi n'Tichka hill and its hanging villages. Several stops in panoramic spots over the valley and pause at the top of the hill at 2200m. Visit of Aït Benhaddou casbah, dating back to XI century and part of UNESCO heritage. We go on to Roses Valley and the road of the thousand Casbahs. Themn towards Boumalne Dadès and Dadès gorges. Visit.

2° day: Boumalne Dadès - Tinghir - Merzouga  (260 km)
Departure for Tinghir. Visit o f the gorges and promenade across the palm trees wood, one of the biggest in Marocco, then direction Erfoud. We arrive in the luxuriant region of Tafilalet. And in pre-Saharian oasis as far as Merzouga (inChebbi erg). Here we stop in a hotel, leave the luggage and it's possible to bathe in the swimming pool before starting the camel ride(approximately 2h). Dinner and overnight stay in bivouac among the dunes under the Berber tent.

3° day: Merzouga - Alnif - Drâa Valley- Marrakech  (550 km)
Vista of sunrise over the dunes and camel ride back to Merzouga. At hotel Atlas du sable breakfast and, if you like, a shower then departure direction Rissani, capital city of Alauita dynasty, today reigning. We go on crossing the pre-desert plains with an expanse of acacia trees forest. Arrival to Tansikht, at the crossing of Dràa Valley. Then to Tiz Tiniffift hill and as far as Ouarzazate, then back to Marrakesh crossing Tifultu casbah.

3 days/2 nights. Escorted circuit.

1° day: Marrakech - Ouarzazate - Agdez (290km)
Morning departure from Marrakesh towards Tizi n'Tichka hill and its hanging villages, visit   Aït Benhaddou casbah, dating back to XI century and part of UNESCO heritage. We go on towards  Tizi Tiniffift hill with its moon landscapes direction Agdez. Visit of Tamnougalt casbah, dinner and overnight stay in a ksar (or similar).

2° day: Agdez - Alnif - Merzouga  (260km)
Departure to Drâa as far as Tansikht, then direction Tazarine, across pre-Saharian regionswith large acacia trees woods as far as Rissani, capital city of Alauita dynasty, today reigning. The trip ends at erg Chebbi foot (Merzouga). Departure camel riding at sunset, dinner and overnight stay in bivouac among the dunes under the Berber tent.

3° day: Merzouga - Ouarzazate - Marrakech (550km)
Vista of sunrise over the dunes and camel ride to Merzouga con i cammelli, from there to Erfoud, luxuriant region of Tafilalet. We go on towards Ouarzazate along Roses Valley, arrival in Marrakesh at sunset..
