Description
Once residence of the Charai family, personal secretary of Pascià Glaoui, the riad was restored in complete respect of traditional architecture and materials and can welcome up to 18 people. The building covers an area of 1600 square meters.
A long passageway with a fountain leads you to a large patio with trees, a fountain and a 9x4m. swimming pool; two lounges (Bhous) open onto the patio. Also on the ground floor: a lounge with fireplace, a large dining hall with fireplace, a suite with bathroom and fireplace, plus the kitchen and service areas.
On the first floor are four suites with bathroom and fireplace corner; an apartment with two rooms, a bathroom, and two fireplaces; three twin rooms with bathroom; a wellness zone with traditional steam hammam, heated massage room, and fireplace.
All rooms are have air conditioning/heating and satellite TV, mini-bar, mini-safe, and hair-dryer.
On the last floor two terraces organized with two lounges covered by tents. From up there you can enjoy an incomparable view over the palm groves, Atlas Mountains, and the ancient Medina.

The villa is located in Zaouia district, Bab Taghzout, 20 minutes by foot from Piazza Jamâa El Fna and the souks, and near many more tourist attractions. In the surroundings: Essaouia, Ourika Valley, Ouzoud waterfall , Ouarzazate, the Moroccan desert – Zagorra, Merzouga, Dades Valley, the peak of Toubkal.
