Description
The riad is in a splendid 18th-century building. It is one of the most beautiful "maisons d'hôtes" of the Medina of Fès. Located in the Andalusian quarter of the old Medina, the building belongs to one of the noble Fassi family.
All 12 rooms, for up to 36 people, are disposed around a central patio. They have luxurious decorations and an oriental charm which will transport you in an Arabian Nights atmosphere.
The terrace offers a beautiful view over the old city. When there are important events we also open our patio (covered and heated in winter) to organize a work lunch or an evening gala...
At guests' disposal: laundry/ironing room, library, Hammam.
In our palace there is also a famous restaurant offering a refined table d'hôtes, which will allow you to discover true Fassi cuisine, the most appreciated in Morocco.
Watched parking day and night (to pay) at 5 minutes from the riad.

To see:
The old Medina of Fès, a few steps away from the souks. One of the imperial cities, Fès was founded in 789 by Idriss I. Rich in religious, cultural, and architectural heritage, it rapidly became the religious and cultural centre of Morocco over the centuries, and it is surely the most authentic city of northern Africa.
The imperial city of Meknès is 66 km. from Fès. The impressive Roman city of Volubilis is 80 km. away, and can be visited in a day-trip together with the nearby Moulay Idriss.
The Berber towns and cities of the mid-Atlas and the pre-Islamic caves of Bhalil.
The cedar forest with its monkeys, lakes, and waterfalls.
How to arrive by public transportation:
In front of the Station, take bus n. 19 or a small taxi; stop at Rcif Square (5 mins. by foot from the riad) where is the bus terminal and a large parking area of the Rcif.
If you come to the new city take bus n. 29 or 45 in the direction of Rcif Square.
There is a shuttle service available to and from the railway station.
