Launched in 2000, this charming and warm hotel of Zagora is ispired by typical kasbah architecture. The traditional Morocco style is enchanting. Guests are lodged in 48 rooms, everyone furnisched with private bathroo, air conditioning, heating, phone, satellite tv and balcony. There are single, double, triple and quadruple rooms.

Surroundings

Zagora is a small town located in south Morocco, contiguus to great saharian desert, in the Draa valley. It's the ideal location to discover the magica of the desrt and to know the famous "Blue men", the tuareg who start their caravan journey. A big placard announces: from here 52 days for Timbuktu (Tombouctou). Clearly by camel! Zagora is 160 km from Quarzazate, a road that climbs on the mountain until the Tizi n'Tinififft peak (1660 m) where you can admire the Djebel Sarhro. You arrive at Agdz, small town which emerges from mountains. Here is the spectacular view on the Draa Valley. The arrival to Zagora is announced by the Jebel Kissan, the only mountain of Zagora. About 20 km from Zagora there is Tamegroute, an ancient coranic village. Together with the coranic school there are store crafts and an interesting market. Towards south you discover the wonderful sand dune of Tinfou.

Activities

Hotel is the starting point for journey in the South Morocco with dromedary and nights spent in the desert. The hotel organizes oasis and kasba's tours. Route by dromedary from 1 to 15 days with camping in wide sand dunes.

Food, wine and crafts

In the hotel, restaurant with typical Mechoui product (mutton). Local kitchen: couscous, tagine, pastilla (dessert stuffed with chicken, eggs and almonds), mechoui. Typical artisanal products: carpet, jewels, ceramics.
