Description
In the heart of a protected valley, the eco-lodge was conceived to promote a new attitude towards travel, with respect of the nature and culture of the High Moroccan Atlas.
Build with natural materials and traditional methods, ours is a small hotel in a casbah which harmoniously integrates in the Aït Bougmez valley.
Hospitality takes place in 17 double rooms with the possibility of an extra third bed.
In a warm atmosphere, the eco-lodge offers great comforts, and thanks to its media library and proposed activities, it creates links between the visitors and the Berberian people of the valley.

Surroundings
The ecolodge is located in the valley of the Aït Bougmez, 200 km southeast of Marrakesh, at the feet of the rocky mass of M’Goun, which culminates at an altitude of 4000 meters.
How to arrive by public transportation:
From Marrakesh take a collective taxi for Azilal to the station of the large taxis of Bab Doukkala. Taxis have 6 seats and leave only when all the seats have been purchased. The journey is about 3 hours and the price is 70 DHM per person.
From Azilal take a taxi at the station (near the Grand Mosque) for Imelghas/Dar Itrane.
Imelghas is the villas of the Aït Bougmez Valley, where you find the ecolodge. The journey is about 2-3 hours and the price is 35 DHM per person.
ActivitiesCultural walks in freedom, meant for discovering the Berber culture and meeting local people. Several itineraries and guides are available wth different themes: discovery of Berber daily life, of the artisans, of the architectural and decorative traditions, of the agricultural activity. |
